- Finally, download the latest QuickBooks Desktop product updates or the latest payroll tax table update
Solution 2: Run Quick Fix my Program
- Open the QB Tool Hub.
- Choose Program Problems and then click on Quick Fix my Program.
- After this, open the application again with your company file.
- Then, download the latest QuickBooks Desktop product updates or the latest payroll tax table update.
If this doesn't work and you still face the issue, follow the steps below:
- First, you will have to exit the QB program.
- Move to the C:\ProgramData\Intuit\QuickBooks XX\Components. Here, XX resembles the QB version you currently use. For instance, QuickBooks Desktop 2021 is DownloadQB21
- At this point, you need to right-click on the Components option and choose Delete.
- Now, open QB and move to the Help menu.
- Choose Update QuickBooks Desktop.

- Move to the C:\Program Files\Intuit\QuickBooks.
- Then, right-click on QBW32.exe.
- Tap on Properties.
- Next, you need to click on Digital Signature and verify that Intuit is chosen in the signature list.

- Head over to the Digital Signature Details window and then click on View Certificate.
