U4GM Guide to MLB The Show 26 Postseason Rewards

Buying extra Postseason cards before checking the Dodgers vs. Brewers reward path can waste Stubs without bringing Aaron Ashby any closer. Before allocating MLB 26 stubs to roster upgrades, map the 50-point target against the cards this MLB The Show 26 program supplies. The efficient approach uses early rewards to complete overlapping objectives, rather than treating every mission as a separate assignment.

Build Around the 21-Point Checkpoint

Seven Moments at three points each produce 21 program points, clearing both Evan Phillips at 10 and Kyle Tucker at 20. That checkpoint matters more than completing all ten Moments immediately: it supplies two 2026 Postseason cards that can support the remaining PXP work. Choose seven scenarios you can finish consistently instead of following their displayed order.

The remaining calculation is straightforward: 10 points for earning 2,026 PXP with Dodgers or Brewers players, plus 20 for earning 2,026 PXP with 2026 Postseason Series players. Added to those 21 Moment points, that reaches 51. Finishing every Moment first adds work that this particular route does not require.

Make Each Lineup Slot Serve Two Objectives

Phillips and Tucker provide the important overlap between team eligibility and Postseason eligibility. Before committing to a longer session, check the mission wording, enter an eligible mode, and confirm that their earned PXP advances both counters afterward. A short verification game costs less time than discovering several completed games only moved one objective.

Build the batting order around repeated opportunities for Tucker, while using Phillips when the game situation permits. Fill other positions with eligible Dodgers, Brewers, or Postseason cards already in your inventory. Separate cards can advance separate counters, but overlapping eligibility reduces the chance of finishing one 2,026-PXP requirement while leaving the other far behind.

Use Team Missions When Your Inventory Supports Them

An established roster has another route: nine strikeouts with Dodgers players and 32 total bases with Brewers players award 10 points each. Combined with both PXP missions, those objectives total exactly 50. This suits players who already have suitable pitchers and hitters; purchasing an entire supporting lineup undermines its main advantage.

For the strikeouts, prioritize a Dodgers pitcher whose delivery and putaway pitches you control reliably. For 32 total bases, prioritize Brewers hitters who produce solid contact against the opposing pitcher. A double contributes two total bases, but stealing second after a single does not turn that hit into a double. Avoid outs created by unnecessary baserunning risks.

Measure Progress by the Remaining Bottleneck

Recheck both PXP counters after each session rather than assuming they remain synchronized. If team PXP finishes first, shift available lineup spots toward eligible Postseason cards. If Postseason PXP finishes first, concentrate on Dodgers and Brewers players. Once only one counter remains, continuing to optimize for both can restrict your lineup without improving completion time.

Stop at 50 program points if Ashby is the sole objective; the optional collection is not required for that reward. Program points and account XP are separate, so judge additional tasks by their actual rewards. Players considering cheap MLB 26 stubs should first check whether Phillips, Tucker, and existing inventory already cover the remaining requirements, then reserve roster spending for a genuine weakness rather than an unnecessary shortcut.
