Celeste's quests usually feel like a shopping list with bullets flying around your head, but "A Symbol of Unification" lands a little softer. She's talking about old raiders, simple cloth flags, and that weird sense of community you only notice when it's gone. If you're the type who hoards gear, don't overthink it—this run is more about getting in, doing the thing, and getting out, and it helps to know what you might need from ARC Raiders Items before you drop.
Getting There Without Donating Your KitYou've got one job: reach the Formicai Outpost in the Dam Battlegrounds and finish everything in a single round. The outpost sits way down south, close to Formicai Hills, up on a rise that looks out over Red Lake. It's not hard to spot once you're near it, but getting there is the annoying part. Spawns can be rough, and the Battlegrounds can turn into a sweat-fest fast—players hunting shots, ARC units roaming, noise everywhere. A Free Loadout is the smart play. Go light, take the quiet routes, and don't pick fights you don't need.
Finding the Raider Flag Inside the OutpostOnce you're at the main structure, slow down for ten seconds. People rush because they're expecting a sniper angle, then they miss the interactable and waste the whole run. Head in through the entrance and look immediately around the doorway area. There's usually a medical bed or a desk nearby, and a bag sitting there is what you're after. Interact to pick up the Raider flag. Check your objective tracker right away—sometimes you'll think you grabbed it, then realize you didn't when you're already sprinting out the back.
Hoisting the Flag and Making It OutWith the flag on you, push through the hallway into the central circular room. Look for the balcony exit that leads to the small platform facing Red Lake. You'll see the flagpole and a prompt; hold the interaction and let it play out. It's a clean little moment, honestly, but don't stand there admiring it too long. Rotate out, keep cover, and head for extraction or whatever "safe" looks like in that match. Back in Speranza, Celeste pays you with the Dusted Cream Aviator Outfit variant, plus some Duct Tape and Mod Components—nice bonuses for a mission that's basically a risky delivery.
If You Haven't Unlocked It YetIf "A Symbol of Unification" isn't showing up, it's not bugged—you're just not far enough down Celeste's chain. Keep knocking out her earlier tasks and it'll appear after you've done "Unexpected Initiative." And if you're trying to keep your build competitive while you grind, it can be handy to use services like U4GM for game currency or items so you're not stuck scraping together parts between runs when the lobby won't cut you any slack.
